The Pagoda shoot is our annual record status archery shoot.
Archers from all over the south east of England come to enjoy this opportunity to meet and shoot with friends at one of the first record status shoots of the season.
We shoot at our grounds which are just before Kew Gardens and in sight of its world famous Pagoda.

We hold our ‘Come and Try’ every year, to let people experience Archery for themselves. This year it will be held at our grounds on Bank Holiday Monday, May 6th. There is no need to book, just come along between 1pm and 5pm. The experience is for all ages, and you would be able to shoot 12 arrows under the guidance of an experienced coach. All equipment is provided, and the cost is £6. Tea, coffee and cakes will also be available.

WINTER POSTAL COMPETITION RESULTS
As we are enjoying a hot summer, some of you may be able to cast your minds back to the cold dark winter night when the most hardy archers took part in the winter postal competitions. I finally have full results and MEDALS!!!
We took part in three leagues and several divisions, mostly results were hampered by having insufficient people shooting but some great scores from those who did turn out. The format is that we are sorted into divisions of 6 teams based on estimated scores, each month we shoot at our own ground, enter the best scores (it can be different people each month) and are awarded points based on win / draw / lose against our opposing team on a round robin basis.
Surrey County Frostbite
Recurve (division 3) – 6th place (of 6)
Barebow (division 1) – 3rd place (of 3)
Compound (division 3) – 2nd place (of 4)
Longbow (division 1) – 3rd place (of 5)
Juniors (division 1) – 2nd place (of 4)
British Archery Portsmouth
Recurve (division 27) – 4th place (of 6) – Michal – top gent of division in November & January, Sam top lady of division in January
Compound (division 17) – 6th place (of 6)

We will be holding a ‘Come and Try’ at our club on the afternoon of Monday May 1st 2017 from 1pm until 5pm. There is no need to book. This is for all ages, and is quite informal. You will be able to shoot 12 arrows under instruction. The cost will be £6 per person. Tea/coffee and cakes are also available.
Here are the results of this year’s Bray Competition. Excellent effort all around, well done to everybody! As every year, the medals will be awarded at our Opening Shoot.
